Safe Communities Program

Objective: To enhance community safety and provide support to vulnerable populations. Safety Awareness Campaigns: Running campaigns to educate communities about safety practices and emergency preparedness. Support Services: Offering resources and support to victims of domestic violence and other forms of abuse. Community Patrols: Collaborating with local authorities to establish community patrols that enhance neighborhood safety.The defining feature of a safe community is the ability of all of its citizens - regardless of gender, race, age, income, sexuality, language or ability - to participate fully and freely in all of its environments. This requires that citizens both feel, and are, safe and that they have meaningful opportunities to participate in local decision-making processes.
